These Terms of Service constitute the full agreement between you and Elite London (Emanuel Kristensson) in relation to your use of our website and any purchases you make. They are governed by Swedish law and applicable EU consumer protection legislation.
Eligibility to Shop With Us
By placing an order with Elite London, you confirm that:
You are at least 18 years of age, or you are a minor purchasing with the full knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf.
You are a human individual making a genuine purchase for personal use or as a gift. Our store is not intended for resellers, wholesalers, or businesses purchasing stock for commercial resale without our prior written agreement.
The personal and payment information you provide to us is accurate, truthful, and belongs to you. Providing false information or using another person's payment details without their permission is fraudulent and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
You are lawfully permitted to make online purchases in your country of residence, and receiving the goods we sell is not prohibited by the laws or regulations applicable to you.
Our website and products are designed for adults. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is aware of and approves your purchase before you proceed. We do not knowingly facilitate purchases by children acting entirely without parental knowledge.
How Orders Work & When a Contract Is Formed
We want you to understand exactly what happens at each stage when you place an order with us. Here is the full process explained clearly.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order before despatch, at our discretion. Reasons we might do this include: a pricing error on our website, a product that has become unexpectedly unavailable, a detected fraud risk, or a violation of these terms. If we cancel your order, you will always receive a full refund promptly and we will explain the reason to you.
Pricing, Taxes & Currency
We believe in complete price transparency. Here is everything you need to know about how prices work on our store.
The prices shown on our product pages are the full prices you will be charged for the product itself. There are no hidden fees added to the product price. Shipping costs, where applicable, are shown separately and transparently at checkout before you confirm your order.
Our store displays prices in the currency most relevant to your location. If your billing currency is different from the displayed currency, your bank or payment provider may apply a foreign exchange conversion. Any such conversion or foreign transaction fee is applied by your bank and is outside our control. We do not charge currency conversion fees on our end.
As Elite London is operated by a private individual in Sweden who is not registered for VAT (below the Swedish VAT registration threshold), we do not currently charge VAT on our products. Prices shown are the final prices. For customers in countries where import VAT or sales tax is collected at the border (such as the UK, EU, USA, Australia, and Canada), additional taxes may be applied by customs or your country's tax authority at the point of import. Please see Section 9 for full details on import duties and taxes.
We take great care to ensure all prices on our website are accurate. However, if a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to a technical or human error (for example, a high-value item listed at £0.01), we are not obligated to fulfil the order at the incorrect price. In such cases, we will contact you to either confirm the correct price or cancel your order with a full refund. We will always be transparent about why we are doing this and give you the choice.
Payment Methods & Security
We accept a range of payment methods to make shopping as convenient as possible. All payment processing is handled securely by our payment partners.
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Debit cards
- PayPal
- Shop Pay
- Klarna (Buy Now, Pay Later — subject to Klarna's approval)
- Apple Pay and Google Pay (where available)
- Elite London gift cards
Your card details are entered directly into our payment processor's secure environment. We never see, receive, or store your full card number, CVV, or expiry date. All transactions are encrypted using SSL technology. Our payment processors are certified to PCI-DSS Level 1, the highest level of payment security certification.
Payment is taken at the time you place your order. If your payment fails or is declined, your order will not be placed and you will be notified immediately. You can then try a different payment method.
If you pay using Klarna or any instalment payment option, your payment agreement is directly with Klarna, not with us. Please review Klarna's own terms and conditions before using this payment method. Your obligation to pay Klarna remains even if you later return an item to us.
Product Descriptions & Accuracy
We put genuine effort into ensuring that every product listing on our website is accurate, honest, and helpful. We want you to know exactly what you are buying before you commit to a purchase.
We use professional photography to represent our products as accurately as possible. However, colours can appear slightly differently depending on your device's screen settings, calibration, and brightness. We cannot guarantee that the colour you see on your screen is an exact match to the physical product. If colour accuracy is very important to you, please contact us before ordering and we will do our best to help.
We provide sizing guides on our product pages to help you choose the correct size. Please refer to these guides carefully before ordering, as sizes can vary between styles and garments. If you are unsure about sizing, please contact us before placing your order and we will advise you as best we can.
Material composition and care instructions are included in each product listing where available. We source this information directly from our suppliers and take care to ensure it is accurate. If you have a specific fabric sensitivity or allergy, please read the product details carefully and contact us if you need additional information.
Despite our best efforts, it is possible that a product listing may occasionally contain an error in the description, price, or image. If you receive a product that is materially different from how it was described on our website at the time of purchase, you are entitled to a full refund and free return. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery in such cases.
Stock Availability & Order Changes
We do our best to keep our website inventory accurate and up to date. However, here is what to expect in the rare situations where stock or order issues arise.
On very rare occasions, an item may sell out between you adding it to your cart and us processing your order. If this happens, we will contact you by email immediately. We will offer you the choice of waiting for a restock (if applicable), substituting with a similar item, or receiving a full refund for the out-of-stock item.
We process orders quickly, often within 24 hours. If you need to change or cancel your order, please email us at support@elite-london.com as soon as possible with your order number. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order has entered the packing and despatch process.
If you need to change your delivery address after placing an order, please contact us immediately. Once your order has been despatched and a tracking number assigned, we are unable to redirect the parcel. In this case, you would need to contact the carrier directly to request a redirect, which may involve a fee charged by the carrier.
Shipping & Delivery — Full Transparency
We ship orders to customers worldwide. Below is a fully transparent explanation of how our shipping works, including timelines, costs, and what happens if something goes wrong.
We ship all orders directly from our supplier to you.
We are fully transparent about our fulfilment model: Elite London does not hold physical stock in a warehouse that we personally manage. Instead, once your order is placed and confirmed, it is fulfilled and shipped by our trusted supplier directly to your delivery address. This is a legitimate and widely used business model. The product you receive is exactly the product shown on our website. Your order is still fully covered by all the policies on this page, including our return and refund policy, and all applicable consumer laws.
After your order is confirmed and payment is received, we aim to have your order packed and despatched within 1–3 business days. During busy periods (such as sales or new collection launches), this may extend to 5 business days. We will always notify you if your despatch is delayed beyond our standard processing time.
Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. The following are estimates only — actual delivery times can vary due to carrier delays, customs processing, and other factors outside our control.
| Destination | Estimated Delivery | Tracking |
|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | 7–14 business days | Tracking number provided |
| European Union | 7–14 business days | Tracking number provided |
| United States | 10–20 business days | Tracking number provided |
| Canada | 10–20 business days | Tracking number provided |
| Australia | 10–20 business days | Tracking number provided |
| Rest of World | 14–30 business days | Tracking where available |
Once your order has been despatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your parcel. Tracking updates may not appear immediately — please allow up to 48 hours after despatch for tracking information to become active on the carrier's system.
Shipping costs, where applicable, are calculated and displayed clearly at checkout before you complete your order. We may offer free shipping promotions from time to time, which will be indicated on the relevant product pages and at checkout. We do not add shipping charges after your order is placed.
If your order has not been delivered within 30 business days of despatch (or 45 days for Rest of World), please contact us at support@elite-london.com. We will investigate with the carrier and, if the parcel is confirmed as lost, we will offer you a full replacement or a complete refund — whichever you prefer.
Import Duties, Customs & Taxes
This is one of the most important sections for international customers. Please read it carefully before placing your order so there are no surprises when your parcel arrives.
When a parcel is shipped from one country to another, the customs authority of the destination country may apply import duties, VAT, or other taxes before releasing the parcel for delivery. These charges are determined entirely by the laws of your country and are completely outside our control. We are not able to predict, guarantee, or pay these charges on your behalf. Any customs duties, import VAT, or other import-related charges that arise are the responsibility of the recipient (you).
Since Brexit, the UK treats imports from outside the UK (including from EU countries) as international shipments. For orders with a value above £135, UK import VAT and potentially customs duty may be charged by HMRC when your parcel enters the UK. For orders under £135, the seller may be required to collect and remit UK VAT. We display our prices inclusive of any applicable UK VAT obligations at checkout. If you are unsure, please contact us before ordering.
For EU customers, import VAT applies on goods imported into the EU. Parcels with a declared value below €150 may be eligible for a simplified customs procedure, but VAT is still applicable. Parcels above €150 may be subject to both customs duty and import VAT. Your local customs authority will notify you of any charges due before releasing your parcel.
Most clothing shipments to the US with a declared value below USD $800 are eligible for the de minimis exemption, meaning they typically clear customs without duty or tax. However, this threshold is subject to change by US customs authorities and we cannot guarantee it will apply to your order. Shipments above USD $800 may be subject to US import duty.
Australia applies GST (10%) on most imported goods over AUD $1,000. Canada applies GST/HST on imported goods above CAD $20. Other countries have their own thresholds and rates. Please check with your country's customs authority before ordering if you are unsure what charges may apply.
If you refuse delivery of your parcel because you do not wish to pay customs charges, the parcel will be returned to us. In this case, we will issue a refund for the product cost only, minus any return shipping costs incurred by us in receiving the parcel back. We strongly recommend checking your country's customs thresholds before ordering internationally to avoid unexpected charges.
Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
We offer a straightforward 30-day return policy. Full details of our return and refund policy are set out in our dedicated Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service and should be read alongside them.
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned with all original tags attached.
- All returns require prior written approval and a Return Authorisation (RA) number from us before you send anything back.
- Intimate apparel, swimwear, custom items, and Final Sale items cannot be returned unless they arrive faulty.
- Return shipping costs are paid by you for change-of-mind returns, and by us if we made an error.
- Start your return at support@elite-london.com or visit our Return & Refund Policy for full details.
Your Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms of Service reduces, overrides, or limits your statutory consumer rights. These rights exist independently of our policies and are guaranteed to you by law. Our policies are designed to be at least as generous as your legal rights, and often more so.
Regardless of our return policy, you have a legal right under the laws of your country to receive goods that are:
- Of satisfactory quality — the item must not be faulty or damaged when you receive it.
- Fit for purpose — the item must do what clothing is reasonably expected to do.
- As described — the item must match the description given on our website.
| Country | Right to Cancel | Faulty Goods | Governing Law |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sweden & EU | 14 days (statutory) | 2–3 year guarantee | EU Consumer Rights Directive / Distansavtalslagen |
| United Kingdom | 14 days (statutory) | 30-day full refund; 6-year limitation | Consumer Rights Act 2015 |
| United States | Varies by state | Implied warranty of merchantability | State & Federal consumer laws |
| Australia | Reasonable time | Consumer guarantees (ACL) | Australian Consumer Law |
| Canada | Varies by province | Implied warranty provisions | Provincial consumer protection acts |
Promotional Codes & Discounts
We occasionally offer promotional discount codes to customers through our email list, social media, and other channels. The following rules apply to all promotional codes.
Promotional codes must be entered at checkout before completing your order. We are unable to apply a discount code retrospectively to an order that has already been placed.
Each promotional code is subject to its own specific terms, including minimum spend requirements, expiry dates, eligible products, and usage limits. These conditions are stated when the code is issued.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, promotional codes cannot be combined with other discount codes or offers. Only one code can be applied per order.
Promotional codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. If you return an item purchased with a discount code, the refund will be calculated based on the discounted price you paid, not the original full price.
We reserve the right to withdraw or expire a promotional code at any time without notice, particularly in cases where we believe the code is being misused or shared in a way that was not intended.
Gift Cards
Elite London gift cards can be purchased and used as payment towards any order on our website. The following conditions apply to all gift cards.
Gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash. Once purchased, the value is stored as credit on the gift card and can only be used as payment on elite-london.com.
Elite London gift cards do not expire. The balance on your gift card is available to use at any time for as long as our store is in operation.
We are not responsible for gift cards that are lost, stolen, or used without the owner's permission. Please treat your gift card code like cash and keep it secure. If you believe your gift card has been used fraudulently, contact us immediately and we will investigate.
If you return an item that was purchased using a gift card, the refund will be credited back to the original gift card. If the original gift card is no longer accessible, please contact us and we will issue a new gift card to the same value.

Acceptable Use of Our Website
Our website is provided for the purpose of browsing and purchasing our products. You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
Fraud and Misrepresentation: Using false identity, stolen payment details, or providing deliberately misleading information when placing an order.
Automated Access: Using bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated tools to access, collect, or extract data from our website without our express written permission.
Technical Interference: Attempting to hack, disrupt, overload, or otherwise interfere with the security or functionality of our website, servers, or networks.
Unlawful Activity: Using our website or services for any purpose that is unlawful under Swedish law, EU law, or the laws of your country of residence.
Commercial Resale Without Permission: Purchasing items from our store for the purpose of reselling them commercially without our prior written agreement.
Limitation of Liability
We want to be fully transparent about the limits of our liability. This section explains what we are and are not responsible for.
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation on our part
- Any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by Swedish or EU consumer law
- Your statutory consumer rights in respect of faulty, misdescribed, or undelivered goods
- Carrier delays beyond our reasonable control, once a parcel has been collected by the carrier
- Customs delays or charges imposed by the destination country's authorities
- Losses arising from your failure to provide an accurate delivery address
- Loss of profits, business, or indirect losses arising from your use of our website or products
- Temporary unavailability of our website due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount you paid for that specific order. This limitation does not apply to any liability we cannot legally cap, including your statutory consumer rights.
Fraud Prevention & Order Refusal
We take fraud prevention seriously to protect both our business and our genuine customers. Our payment processors use automated systems to screen orders for fraud signals. We also conduct manual review of orders in certain circumstances.
- Suspected use of fraudulent or stolen payment details
- A delivery address that is flagged as high-risk by our payment processor
- Mismatched billing and delivery information that cannot be verified
- A history of chargebacks or fraudulent claims on previous orders
- Any other signal that gives us reasonable grounds to suspect fraud
If we decline your order, you will receive a notification. Any payment that has been taken will be refunded in full within 5 business days. We may not always be able to disclose the specific reason for declining an order for security reasons, but we will always confirm that a refund has been processed.
If you have a genuine concern about an order, please contact us first. Filing a payment dispute or chargeback without first contacting us is a last resort and one we strongly encourage you to avoid. We handle customer issues fairly and promptly. Fraudulent chargebacks — where a customer claims non-delivery or non-receipt when goods have been delivered and tracked — will be disputed by us with supporting evidence provided to the card issuer.
Links to Third-Party Websites
Our website may contain links to external websites, social media platforms, or third-party services (such as our payment providers or carrier tracking pages). These links are provided for your convenience.
We do not control or endorse the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party websites we link to. When you click an external link and leave our website, you are subject to the terms and privacy policies of that third-party site. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy and terms of any external website you visit. We are not liable for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of a linked third-party website.
Country-Specific Consumer Law Rights
We serve customers across many countries and we respect the consumer protection laws that apply in each region. Where local law provides you with rights that are stronger than those set out in these terms, those local rights will always take precedence. Below is a plain-English summary of your key rights by country.
As we are based in Sweden, Swedish consumer law is the primary framework governing all transactions. You have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. A 3-year complaint period applies to faulty goods under Konsumentköplagen. The Swedish Consumer Agency (Konsumentverket) oversees consumer rights. The National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) offers free dispute resolution for Swedish consumers.
All EU customers have a minimum statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from distance purchases without needing to provide a reason. A minimum 2-year legal guarantee applies to all goods sold in the EU. If goods are faulty, not as described, or do not work as expected within the guarantee period, you are entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund. You can also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
UK consumers have a 14-day statutory right to cancel a distance purchase and return items within 14 days thereafter. If an item is faulty, you have 30 days to demand a full refund. After 30 days, you are entitled to a repair or replacement as a first step. Your right to claim for faulty goods extends up to 6 years under the Limitation Act. The UK's Citizens Advice Bureau can provide guidance, and you may refer disputes to Trading Standards.
Consumer protection in the US is governed by a combination of federal and state laws. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulates fair trading practices at the federal level. State-level laws (such as California's consumer protection statutes) may provide additional rights. US customers who receive faulty or misdescribed goods are entitled to a remedy under implied warranty of merchantability principles. We honour all valid claims regardless of the absence of a single federal statutory withdrawal period.
Australian customers benefit from strong consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Goods must be of acceptable quality, match their description, and be fit for purpose. If they are not, you have the right to a repair, replacement, or refund depending on whether the failure is major or minor. Consumer guarantees cannot be excluded or limited by any terms of sale. You can contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) if you have a dispute.
Consumer protection in Canada is primarily governed at the provincial level. Each province has its own consumer protection legislation (for example, Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, British Columbia's Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act, and Quebec's Consumer Protection Act). All provide protections around accurate product descriptions, fair contract terms, and remedies for faulty goods. Quebec in particular has strong consumer protections that are closely aligned with EU-style rights. Canadian customers can contact their provincial consumer protection office for guidance.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden and, where applicable, EU consumer law. This does not affect any stronger rights you may have under the laws of your own country of residence.
If you have a complaint or dispute about an order, our products, or these terms, please contact us directly first at support@elite-london.com. We genuinely want to resolve any issue and we take every complaint seriously. The vast majority of problems can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
If we are unable to resolve your complaint directly, you have the right to refer your case to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) body. Swedish consumers can use the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) at www.arn.se. EU customers can use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. These services are free to use and provide an independent resolution process.
If ADR does not resolve the matter, any legal proceedings will be governed by Swedish law and subject to the jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, unless the laws of your country of residence require otherwise. EU consumers retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their own country of residence under EU consumer law provisions.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our business, new products or services, changes in applicable law, or to provide greater clarity to our customers. We are committed to being transparent about any changes we make.
For minor clarifications or corrections, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes that significantly affect your rights or obligations, we will notify you by email before the new terms take effect. The updated terms will always be published at elite-london.com/policies/terms-of-service.
The terms that apply to your specific order are the terms that were in force on the date you placed your order. Changes to our terms after your order date do not retrospectively affect any agreement already in place between us for that order. New terms apply only to orders placed after the date the new terms become effective.
Contact & Business Information
If you have any questions about these Terms of Service, need clarification about any section, or have a complaint you would like to raise with us, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24–48 business hours, Monday through Friday.
