All Payment Methods Are Presented at Checkout

The specific payment options available to you may vary slightly depending on your country of residence and the device you are using. All methods available for your location will be displayed clearly at the checkout stage. You will never reach a payment screen without knowing your options in advance.

2

Credit and Debit Cards

We accept the following credit and debit cards from customers worldwide. All card payments are processed through Shopify Payments, which is powered by Stripe — one of the world's most trusted and secure payment processors.

Visa Mastercard Maestro American Express Discover Diners Club UnionPay
Card Network Card Types Accepted Global Reach Status
Visa Credit, Debit, Prepaid Worldwide Accepted
Mastercard Credit, Debit, Prepaid Worldwide Accepted
Maestro Debit Europe and International Accepted
American Express Credit, Charge Worldwide Accepted
Discover Credit, Debit USA and International Accepted
Diners Club Credit, Charge International Accepted
UnionPay Credit, Debit China and International Accepted
3D Secure Authentication

Many card payments are protected by 3D Secure (3DS2), which is an additional identity verification step that your card issuer may require before approving a transaction. If prompted, you will need to verify your identity using your bank's app, a one-time code sent to your phone, or another method specified by your card provider. This process is managed entirely between you and your bank. We do not see or store any authentication data.

3

Digital Wallets

Digital wallets allow you to complete your purchase quickly and securely without entering your full card details each time. We support the following wallet providers. Availability on your device depends on your browser, operating system, and the wallet app you have installed.

Apple Pay Google Pay Shop Pay PayPal
Apple Pay

Available on Safari on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Uses Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode to authenticate the payment. Your card details are never shared with us — Apple uses a device-specific token to process the transaction.

Google Pay

Available on Chrome and other supported browsers on Android and desktop. Uses your saved Google Pay payment details. The transaction is authenticated through your Google account and the payment is processed without your card number being transmitted to our store.

Shop Pay

Shopify's own accelerated checkout. If you have previously used Shop Pay, your shipping and payment details are saved securely so you can complete future purchases in just a few taps. Shop Pay also offers an instalment option where available. Your payment data is stored and managed by Shopify, not by Elite London directly.

PayPal

Pay using your PayPal balance, linked bank account, or a card saved in your PayPal account. You are redirected to PayPal's secure payment page to complete your transaction. PayPal offers its own buyer protection programme in addition to your rights under our return policy.

4

Klarna — Flexible Financing

We offer Klarna as a flexible payment option where available in your country. Klarna allows you to spread the cost of your purchase across a number of payments rather than paying the full amount upfront. This is subject to Klarna's own eligibility assessment, which is conducted directly between you and Klarna.

Important Information About Klarna

Klarna's buy now, pay later services are a form of credit. Late payments may result in fees and could affect your credit score. Full terms and conditions are provided by Klarna at the point of checkout. Using Klarna is your agreement with Klarna AB directly — Elite London is not a party to the credit agreement between you and Klarna. Always ensure you can comfortably meet the repayment schedule before choosing this option.

How Klarna Works at Checkout

Select Klarna as your payment method at the checkout stage. You will be directed to Klarna's interface where you choose your preferred payment plan. Klarna conducts a brief eligibility check. If approved, your order is confirmed and you repay Klarna according to the plan you selected. We receive payment from Klarna and your order is fulfilled in the usual way.

Klarna and Returns

If you return an item purchased using Klarna, we will process your refund to Klarna in the same way as any other refund. Klarna will then adjust or cancel your outstanding payment schedule accordingly. Contact Klarna directly if you have questions about how the refund affects your repayment plan. Our refund processing time of up to 10 business days still applies.

5

Regional Payment Methods

In addition to the globally recognised payment methods listed above, our checkout supports a number of region-specific payment cards and methods. These are made available through our payment processor's infrastructure and appear at checkout where supported for your location.

Elo (Brazil) Other Region-Specific Cards
Availability of Regional Methods

Regional payment methods such as Elo are available to customers where supported by our payment processor. The availability of each method is determined automatically based on your billing country and the capabilities of your card or account. If a method you expect to see is not showing at checkout, please try an alternative payment method from the list above or contact us at support@elite-london.com and we will assist you.

6

Payment Security

The security of your payment information is treated with the utmost seriousness. We have built our store on Shopify, which provides a payment infrastructure that meets the highest industry security standards. Here is a detailed explanation of the protections in place every time you make a purchase at Elite London.

1
SSL Encryption on All Pages

Every page of elite-london.com operates over HTTPS at all times. This means all data transmitted between your browser and our website — including payment information — is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS). The padlock symbol in your browser address bar confirms this encryption is active. We do not have any pages that operate over unsecured HTTP.

2
PCI-DSS Level 1 Compliance

Our payment processor, Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe), holds PCI-DSS Level 1 certification — the highest level of compliance in the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. This means your card data is handled according to the most stringent security requirements in the payments industry. Elite London itself does not store, process, or transmit raw card numbers at any point.

3
We Never Store Your Card Details

Elite London does not store your card number, CVV security code, or expiry date on our systems. When you enter your payment details at checkout, they are transmitted directly to our payment processor using tokenisation. We only receive a secure reference token confirming that your payment was successful — never your raw card data. If you save a card for future purchases, that data is held securely by Shopify's payment infrastructure, not by us.

4
3D Secure Verification

Where required by your card issuer, payments may be subject to an additional 3D Secure authentication step. This involves confirming your identity through your bank's app, a one-time passcode, or biometric verification. This step is managed between you and your bank independently of Elite London and provides an additional layer of fraud protection for your account.

5
Automated Fraud Detection

Our payment processor uses machine learning and pattern analysis to detect and flag potentially fraudulent transactions in real time. Unusual orders may be subject to additional review before being confirmed. This protects both customers whose payment details may have been compromised and the integrity of our store.

7

Pricing and Currencies

All prices displayed on elite-london.com are the final prices you pay. We do not add hidden fees, service charges, or administrative costs at the checkout stage.

Displayed Currency

Prices on our store are displayed in the currency relevant to your location where possible. The currency shown on the product page is the currency in which you will be charged at checkout. If your local currency is not displayed, prices will be shown in the store's default currency.

Foreign Currency Conversion

If your bank account or card is held in a different currency from the currency displayed on our store, your bank or card provider may apply a foreign currency conversion fee. This charge is set entirely by your financial institution and is outside our control. It will not appear on our checkout page — it will appear on your bank statement separately.

VAT and Tax

Elite London is not currently VAT registered, as we operate below the Swedish VAT registration threshold. Prices shown are the total prices you pay. No VAT is added on top of the displayed price. For deliveries outside the EU, local import duties or taxes may be applied by your country's customs authority upon arrival. These charges are not included in our prices and are the customer's responsibility.

Price Changes

The price charged to you is the price displayed at the time you complete your purchase. If the price of an item changes after you have placed an order, you will not be charged the new price. The price confirmed in your order confirmation email is the final price for your transaction. Sale prices are applied automatically at checkout during promotional periods.

8

Order Confirmation and Charges

Understanding exactly when and how your card or account is charged helps avoid confusion. Here is a clear explanation of the timeline from when you click “Buy” to when the payment appears on your statement.

1
You Confirm Your Order

When you click the final confirm or pay button at checkout, your payment is submitted to our payment processor for authorisation. At this point, the amount is reserved or deducted from your account depending on your payment method. You have not yet been charged in the final sense — the payment is authorised pending order confirmation.

2
Order Confirmation Email

Within minutes of a successful payment authorisation, you will receive an order confirmation email at the address you provided. This email contains your order number, an itemised summary of what you purchased, your delivery address, and the total amount charged. Please check this email carefully and contact us immediately if anything is incorrect.

3
Payment Captured

Payment is captured at the point of order confirmation. For card payments, the charge will typically appear on your bank statement within 1 to 3 business days, though this varies between banks. For digital wallets, the deduction from your balance or linked account may be immediate.

4
Statement Description

The charge on your bank or card statement will appear as Elite London or may show the name of our payment processor, Shopify or Stripe, depending on your bank's display format. If you see a charge you do not recognise, check your order confirmation email first before contacting your bank. If you still cannot identify the charge, contact us and we will investigate immediately.

9

Declined Payments

A declined payment means the transaction was not completed and you have not been charged. There are several possible reasons why a payment may be declined, most of which can be resolved quickly.

Reason for Decline What This Means What to Do
Insufficient Funds Your account balance or credit limit did not cover the order total at the time of processing. Check your available balance and try again, or use an alternative payment method.
Incorrect Card Details One or more of the card details entered — such as the card number, expiry date, or CVV — did not match what your bank has on file. Re-enter your card details carefully and try again.
Bank Blocked the Transaction Your bank flagged the transaction as potentially suspicious, which can happen with international purchases. Contact your bank to authorise the transaction and then try again.
3D Secure Timeout or Failure The additional verification step required by your bank was not completed within the allowed time. Start the checkout process again and complete the verification step promptly when prompted.
Card Expired The expiry date on your card has passed. Use a current card or a different payment method.
International Payments Disabled Your bank has blocked international transactions on your card. Contact your bank to enable international payments or use PayPal or another method.
Unexpected Charge After a Declined Payment

If your payment was declined but you see a charge on your bank statement, this is almost certainly a temporary pre-authorisation hold that your bank placed at the point of the attempted transaction. These holds are released automatically, typically within 3 to 5 business days, depending on your bank's policies. We do not receive any funds from a declined transaction. If the charge does not disappear after 5 business days, contact us at support@elite-london.com or call +46 76 027 20 81 and we will investigate on your behalf.

10

Refunds to Your Payment Method

When a refund is approved under our Return and Refund Policy, the funds are returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. We do not issue refunds by bank transfer, cash, or to a different card or account than the one used for the original transaction.

Payment Method Used Refund Destination Typical Refund Appearance Time
Credit or Debit Card Original card used at checkout 3 to 10 business days after processing
PayPal PayPal account balance Instant to 3 business days after processing
Apple Pay Card linked to Apple Pay 3 to 10 business days after processing
Google Pay Card linked to Google Pay 3 to 10 business days after processing
Shop Pay Card or account linked to Shop Pay 3 to 10 business days after processing
Klarna Klarna adjusts or cancels your repayment plan Varies — contact Klarna for your specific plan
Refund Processing Timeline

Once your return has been received, inspected, and approved by our team, we issue the refund within 10 business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear on your statement after we issue it depends on your bank or payment provider, and is outside our control. If you have not seen a refund appear within 15 business days of your approval confirmation email, please contact us and we will investigate immediately. Our full Return and Refund Policy is published at elite-london.com/policies/refund-policy.

11

Fraud Prevention

We take payment fraud seriously and have a number of measures in place to protect both our customers and our store from fraudulent activity.

How We Protect Customers

We use automated fraud screening tools provided by our payment processor. Suspicious transactions may be flagged and reviewed before being fulfilled. If we suspect that a payment has been made using stolen card details, we will hold or cancel the order and contact the account holder. In serious cases, we will report the matter to relevant authorities.

What We Will Never Ask You to Do

Elite London will never ask you to share your full card number, CVV code, bank PIN, or online banking password by email, phone, or chat. If you receive a communication that appears to be from us and asks for this information, do not respond. Contact us immediately at support@elite-london.com or call +46 76 027 20 81.

If Your Card Has Been Used Without Your Permission

If you believe your payment details have been used to make an unauthorised purchase on our store, contact us immediately and contact your bank or card provider to dispute the transaction. We will cooperate fully with your bank's investigation and cancel any unfulfilled orders linked to the fraudulent activity.

Chargeback Policy

We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Most payment disputes can be resolved directly and more quickly through our customer support team. Filing a chargeback while a legitimate resolution is already in progress is considered a breach of our terms. We cooperate fully with all legitimate chargeback investigations.

12

Taxes, Duties and Import Fees

Because Elite London ships worldwide from Sweden, the tax and customs situation varies depending on your country of residence. Below is a clear explanation of what to expect.

VAT Status Elite London is not currently VAT registered. We operate below the Swedish VAT registration threshold. No VAT is added to our prices.
Prices Shown All prices displayed on our store are final prices inclusive of all our charges. There are no additional fees added by us at checkout.
EU Customers As Elite London ships from within Sweden (an EU member state), most EU customers will not face customs charges on orders below applicable thresholds. This may vary by country and order value.
UK Customers Orders shipped to the United Kingdom may be subject to UK import VAT and customs duties depending on the value of the order. These charges are levied by HMRC and are the customer's responsibility to pay.
International Customers For deliveries outside Sweden and the EU, local import taxes, customs duties, and handling fees may be applied by your country's customs authority. These charges are entirely outside our control and are not included in the prices you pay at checkout.
Refused Customs Charges If you refuse to pay applicable customs charges and the parcel is returned to us, any refund issued will be minus the return shipping cost and any fees incurred as a result of the refusal. Please check your country's import regulations before ordering.
We Recommend Checking Before You Order

If you are unsure about the import duties or taxes that may apply in your country, we recommend checking with your local customs authority before placing an order. We are happy to provide information about the value of your parcel for customs declaration purposes. Contact us at support@elite-london.com if you have a specific question.
