This page outlines how Elite London handles payments, charges, and transactions made through our website. By placing an order, you agree to the payment terms described below.

1. Payment Methods Accepted

We accept the following payment methods at checkout:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • PayPal
  • Shop Pay
  • Klarna (where available)

All payment methods displayed at checkout are available for your region. The available options may vary depending on your location.

2. Payment Processing

All transactions on our website are processed securely through Shopify Payments, powered by Stripe. Shopify Payments is a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment processor — the highest level of security certification available in the payment industry.

Payment is taken in full at the time your order is placed. You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after a successful payment. If your payment is declined, your order will not be processed and no charge will be applied to your account.

Elite London never stores, sees, or has access to your full card details. All sensitive payment data is encrypted and handled entirely by Shopify Payments and their underlying payment infrastructure.

3. Currencies

Prices on our website are displayed in GBP (£) by default. If you are shopping from a different country, your bank or card issuer will convert the charge to your local currency at the prevailing exchange rate. Any foreign exchange fees applied are charged by your bank and are not within our control.

Elite London is not responsible for any currency conversion fees, foreign transaction fees, or exchange rate differences applied by your financial institution.

4. Order Confirmation

Once your payment has been successfully processed, you will receive an order confirmation email containing your order number, a summary of the items purchased, your delivery address, and the total amount charged. Please keep this email for your records.

If you do not receive a confirmation email within 30 minutes of placing your order, please check your spam or junk folder before contacting us. If you still cannot locate it, email us at support@elite-london.com with your name and the email address used at checkout.

5. Pricing and VAT

All prices displayed on our website are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law. Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice, but any change will not affect orders that have already been confirmed and paid for.

For orders shipped to countries outside the United Kingdom or European Union, your order may be subject to import duties, customs fees, or local taxes upon arrival. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our prices or shipping fees. Please check with your local customs authority before ordering if you are unsure.

6. Discount Codes and Promotions

Discount codes and promotional offers must be applied at checkout before completing your purchase. We are unable to apply discount codes retrospectively once an order has been placed and paid for.

The following conditions apply to all discount codes and promotions:

  • One discount code may be used per order unless otherwise stated
  • Codes cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated
  • Codes are subject to expiry dates and availability
  • Elite London reserves the right to cancel or modify any promotion at any time
  • Discount codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for currency

7. Failed or Declined Payments

If your payment is declined at checkout, your order will not be placed and no charge will be made to your account. Common reasons for a declined payment include:

  • Incorrect card details entered
  • Insufficient funds
  • Your bank blocking the transaction as a security precaution
  • Card not enabled for international or online transactions
  • Expired card

If your payment is declined, we recommend contacting your bank to resolve the issue before attempting the transaction again. If the problem persists, please contact us at support@elite-london.com and we will do our best to assist.

8. Fraud Prevention

Elite London uses automated fraud detection tools provided by Shopify Payments to protect both our customers and our business. Orders flagged as potentially fraudulent may be held for manual review, cancelled, or require additional verification before being processed.

If your order is placed on hold or cancelled due to a fraud flag and you believe this to be an error, please contact us at support@elite-london.com with your order number and we will investigate promptly.

9. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you believe an unauthorised charge has been made on your account, please contact us immediately at support@elite-london.com before raising a dispute with your bank. In most cases we can resolve the issue quickly without the need for a chargeback.

Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in a delay to your resolution. Elite London reserves the right to dispute chargebacks where there is evidence that the order was fulfilled correctly and in accordance with our policies.

10. Buy Now, Pay Later (Klarna)

Where available, we offer Klarna as a buy now, pay later option at checkout. By selecting Klarna, you enter into a separate credit agreement directly with Klarna AB, subject to their own terms and conditions and credit assessment. Elite London is not responsible for any charges, interest, or fees applied by Klarna.

11. Refund Transactions

All approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method used at checkout. Refunds cannot be issued to a different card, account, or payment method. Once a refund has been initiated by Elite London, please allow 5–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer's processing times.

If you paid via Klarna or another buy now, pay later service, the refund will be applied to your account with that provider. Please allow additional time for the refund to be reflected in their system.

Security notice: Elite London will never ask for your full card number, PIN, or online banking password via email, phone, or social media. If you receive any communication claiming to be from us asking for this information, please do not respond and contact us immediately.
